Raffaele Di Gennaro’s latest injury will not mean Spezia will consider his future with the club as some reports within the media have suggested FCInterNews.it understand.
Di Gennaro is currently on loan with the Serie B outfit who have an option to redeem the 24-year-old shot stopper at the end of the season.
This season Di Gennaro has appeared in eight of Spezia’s 14 league games, recording four clean sheets and conceding five goals. Spezia are currently sitting in 17th place a single point above the relegation zone.
The former Italian youth international is on his fourth loan spell since being promoted to the Inter first team back in 2012. Di Gennaro is a product of Inter’s youth academy and while he has not played for the Nerazzurri first team he has also saw loan spells at Latina Calcio, Ternana Calcio and AS Cittadella where he has made over a century of first team appearances between the clubs.
