Inter fan favourite and club legend, Giuseppe Bergomi, spoke about Inter after their 2-0 win at home to Atalanta at the San Siro on Sunday night. The game saw Inter captain Mauro Icardi grab an impressive brace which sees the striker reach an outstanding tally of 13 goals in 13 games in Serie A this season for the Nerazzurri.

“Inter are a mature team, during a game you get the feeling that the goals will always arrive for them eventually,” the 1982 World Cup winner said during the Sky Italia football show, Sky Calcio Club.

“They are a very physical side and are very solid. Icardi attacks the penalty box better than ever now with Antonio Candreva crossing from the wing. In the penalty area itself, Icardi is phenomenal.”

The 2-0 win for Inter seen them stretch their undefeated run to 13 competitive games and maintain pressure on league leaders Napoli as well as leapfrogging rivals Juventus who lost to Sampdoria.
