Inter Head Coach Spalletti Annoyed By Media’s Focus On Substitutes

SkySport24 has reported on the annoyance felt by Luciano Spalletti regarding the media’s focus on the players who are not starting, rather than the players who have been winning him the matches until now. Much of the success achieved this season by Spalletti’s team can be attributed to the stability and consistency in the choice of his starting 11.

SkySport24 explains: “Spalletti is annoyed by the fact that the media talks more about players who do not play than those who have instead found an unlikely stability and success like Nagatomo. Dalbert, for example, has been in the shadows and recently even overtaken by Santon in the left back hierarchy and this is hard not to highlight because Inter has invested almost 30 million on the Brazilian.”

The players who have not been playing are thirsty for chances. One example is Andrea Ranocchia who seemed to be a lost player, but now seems to have found the right reasons to stay and is ready to jump in when required.
