Inter management have suggested a potential loan move to Jiangsu Suning to struggling Gabriel Barbosa according to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte.

Inter proposed the Brazilian cuts his time with Benfica short and as of January goes to play in China for their cousins instead.

The 21-year-old striker has other ideas however and would much prefer a return home to his native Brazil. Gabigol recently met with his agent Kia Joorabchian and Giuliano Bertolucci in London to discuss his future and reiterate his desire to play back in his homeland.

Bertolucci looks after Jiangsu Suning’s Ramires and could play a crucial role in what could be a joint deal that would see Ramires join Inter on loan while Gabigol joins the Chinese Super League side on loan.

Former club Santos are his preferred choice but Sao Paulo, Flamengo and Cruziero are all also interested in taking the 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist. The Brazilian’s bumper wages could perhaps cause a problem for all of the interested parties though.
