Current Jiangsu Suning manager Fabio Capello spoke on the race for the scudetto this season in an interview earlier today.

“This season, the league is open to several different solutions. In past years, Juventus was superior and there were no ifs or buts [about whether or not they would win the scudetto]. Now the situation is different, there will be four contending for the league title this year.”

“Napoli, Juve, Inter because they have no European commitments and Roma too because they are strong,” the former Milan, Juventus and Roma manager said in an interview with Il Romanista.

Capello is no stranger to scudetto glory having won a grand total of 11 across his playing and managerial career. Four were won as a player and the remaining seven were won as a coach across three clubs (four at Milan, two at Juventus – which were later revoked as part of the calciopoli scandal – and one at Roma).
