In an long interview with FOX Brazil, former Inter striker Adriano spoke about a lot of things that happened during his career and in particular about what happened in 2008 when he returned to Brazil and San Paolo.

“I asked for the return to Brazil since I had a difficult time after my father passed away. At the time my agent Gilmar Rinaldi came with that suggestion and I never hesitated. Gilmar talked about it with Inter President Massimo Moratti and the coach and everybody agreed that this was the best solution. At first I returned in order to heal, but then I felt so at home that I decided to remain. They wanted me to stay longer and I said yes since I had a pact with Moratti. Gilmar called President Moratti who then called me to make sure this is what I wanted. If I would return today? Absolutely, but for now I just want to work out and return to what I once was because I feel like I still have something to give” Adriano concluded.
