Inter and their cousins Jiangsu Suning are currently in talks over a double transfer according to reports circulating in Chinese media.
The first of the two transfers concerns Inter’s first team and Jiangsu playmaker Alex Teixeira. The Brazilian, who has long been linked to the Nerazzurri will join in the upcoming January transfer window and take up Inter’s final non-EU player spot for the season.
The 27-year-old former Shakhtar Donetsk scored 11 and assisted six in 28 games in all competitions in the recently ended Chinese football season. It is expected that he will join on loan for the remainder of the Serie A season.
The second transfer affects Inter’s Primavera side. 18-year-old Chinese national Erpan Ezimjan, who is of Turkish origin, will also join the Nerazzurri in the winter transfer window but it is not clear whether or not it will be on a permanent or temporary basis. Ezimjan has proved himself in the Chinese youth national team scoring 16 in 20 appearances across U-16, 17 and 19 level.
