Borja Valero spoke to Inter TV after Inter’s 0-0 draw in the Derby D’Italia against Juventus at the Bianconeri’s Allianz Stadium.

“We have shown character and that we are a very united team. We give few chances to the opponents, it is just a pity we did not create the opportunities to win it. We lacked the malice in attack to allow these chances to materialise, it would have been another game [had we created more chances]. We take this point and we are positive.”

It was a complicated match. We held up well but as I say it was a shame as we did not have opportunities in front of us. We did not give anything up and we will continue like this.”

The Spaniard then spoke on the media’s pre-season predictions and how they have since changed.

“At the beginning nobody believed in us, they talked about us having a bad transfer market, but now they want to say that we can fight for the title. In the end we will see. We are up there and we are ready to stay there.”
