Pordenone coach, Leonardo Colucci was not too disappointed when he talked to RAI after the winning penalty of Yuto Nagatomi ended the TIM Coppa Italia adventure for the Friulians: “The guys did it really well tonight, we were not beaten tonight and that is all I can ask for. To take an away game against Inter, leaders of the Serie A, is like winning the cup for us. But during the penalties, I actually thought we could go through. Hats off for the players who stood up and wanted to participate in the shoot-out which was in front of a lot people. Not an easy task. Luciano Spalletti told me after the game that he thought we deserved to go through to the next round, and I appreciate his honesty. Starting from tomorrow we return to regular life with both our feet on the ground and on Sunday we face Renate. In the locker room after the game there were a lot of disappointment, and I understand that, but these guys have the ability to bounce back. Again, we have to remember that we took a game against the Serie A leaders to penalties. We created 4-5 opportunities, now we turn the page, a lot of bitterness now, but that is the beautiful thing with football, on Sunday there is a new game”.
