Former Italian midfielder Mauro Camoranesi discussed the race for the title this season in Serie A as the season approaches the half way mark.

“Now the league has become really beautiful,” he explained to TuttoMercatoWeb.

“Juventus, Napoli, Roma and Inter are going strong, even if the bianconeri is still the team to beat. In addition to Juventus, Inter seems to me the most well rounded team and the one that can go all the way. I also say this because they have never lost a match so far this season unlike everyone else.”

The Argentine born winger won one scudetto during his time in Italian football. He spent 10 years in Italy firstly playing for Hellas Verona before moving on to Juventus where he would spend eight years. He was also part of the Azzurri team that were crowned World Cup champions 11 years ago in Germany. Since retiring, the 41-year-old has went in to management and last managed Mexican second tier club Tapachulla.
