Inter third goalkeeper Tomasso Berni was the latest player to feature on Inter TV show Drive.

Firstly Berni shared some of the hobbies he has outside of football.

“I am passionate about music and art and I like reading a lot. I am a small collector of art and have been passionate about it since I was about 10 when I started to go to see some exhibitions. I like Gino De Domincis work a lot. I listen to everything, I love the 80s, from rock to punk, electronic, jazz and some Italian music but I do not like reggae. My most played album is ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ by Pink Floyd. I am passionate about vinyl and collect them, I must have over 200. Travelling is beautiful, I can not do without it, Mexico, Vietnam and Thailand were all unique experiences.”

He proceeded to discuss his playing career abroad and the changes football has seen in recent years.

“I played in England and Portugal. I went to England after being in youth setup here at Inter. I was 18 years old, I took the chance, London was a wonderful experience for me, for the first time I was really in the middle of the world and I immediately learned the language because I laughed at the movies.

“Football has changed so much in the last few years, it’s faster and more physical, the players have grown a lot, keeping up with Europe’s big players is really tough.”

The 34-year-old concluded by discussing Yann Karamoh.

“He scores a lot of goals in training. He is a very good lad and very good player, he will become very strong in the coming years.”
