Jiangsu Suning manager Fabio Capello spoke on the current goings on in Serie A in an interview with Avvenire.

“Juventus have managed to reconfirm themselves. Inter, apart from this past week, has had a very good performance in the league so far. Luciano Spalletti is a great manager, he has done a good job rebuilding the Nerazzurri squad.”

Capello proceeded to discuss Roma and Napoli.

Roma will be competitive until the end, Napoli seems to me sometimes tarnished, I do not know if they will manage to compete to the end of the season. Their manager Maurizio Sarri must also learn to avoid battling with the criticism that people have thrown his way.”

Capello then also spoke on himself and admitted that he often receives calls with regard to other job opportunities.

I get one or two calls a week, particularly during more intense periods for clubs. Institutional roles do not interest me. I follow everything that happens in football with great interest but my place is by the field.”
