Udinese manager Massimo Oddo has spoken on how he masterminded the victory over Inter at the weekend in an interview with Il Mattino.
“We worked hard, we tried to limit the quality of the opponent with what our own footballing ideas and we had a great match. Inter are a physical side, who rely a lot on individuals look at Borja Valero, Perisic, Icardi. They are very strong.”
The 3-1 win for Oddo’s Bianconeri was Inter’s first defeat of the season and put an end to a 16 game unbeaten run from the start of the season.
He also spoke on Rodrigo De Paul, Antonin Barak and Inter target Jakub Jankto, all of whom have impressed this season and have attracted interest from bigger clubs.
“None of them are ready for a big club. They are very good, but they need more experience with Udinese. Maybe in three months, five months or a year will they be ready for a big team, but everyone must improve. It will take some time.”
