Udinese defender Danilo has heaped praise on Inter after he and teammates inflicted the Nerazzurri’s first defeat of the season upon them on Saturday at San Siro.
“We won against an Inter who was first in the standings going in to the game, they a very strong team. They are very dangerous.”
He continued to discuss what was very much a game of two halves admitting that “We suffered a lot in the first half, but we did it together as a team.
“However, we played a great second half. We hope we can continue to play like that in order to stay at the right end of the table,” the Brazilian told Udinese TV today.
The 33-year-old veteran centre back, who has been with the Bianconeri since 2011 and is also the captain of the Udine side, was making his 12th Serie A appearance of the season in the 3-1 win.
