Inter Directors Sabatini & Ausilio Will Have To Be Creative During Mercato

Corriere della Sera have examined Inter’s transfer market situation ahead of the January transfer window opening in little under two weeks time.

The Milan based newspaper report that Inter’s Chinese owners Suning have no intention of investing big and the Nerazzurri will have to self-finance during the mercato. However, there is one slight problem, Inter do not have many desirable assets that they are willing to part ways with to raise funds.

Inter technical coordinator Walter Sabatini and sporting director Piero Ausilio are well aware what manager Luciano Spalletti is after but they will have to be creative in the way they handle any of the transfers that come to fruition.

The Nerazzurri hope they can raise funds through selling Joao Mario and or Marcelo Brozovic but no clubs are willing to pay for either of the midfielders. Joao Mario could however be involved in a swap deal of some sort with Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United both interested in that sense.
