Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti spoke to Inter TV ahead of Inter’s Christmas Party.
“We hope to take full advantage of these games [over the Christmas period]. Christmas creates a different atmosphere, but what you live in the stadium is unique, as seen before the match against Udinese. The fans are always there, nothing stops them.”
Zanetti then spoke further on the supporters adding, “I’m not talking about this year because things are going well, but I must underline what they gave us last year when the team was not doing so well. They were still always present with us.”
Next up, Inter face Sassuolo away from home on 23 December and Zanetti shared his thoughts and feelings ahead of the clash with the Neroverdi.
“It will be an important game. The team and the coach will look to get back on their path, still showing the value of the team. I have no doubt that they will try to bring the three points back to Milan.”
