Spalletti, Ausilio & Sabatini Discuss Inter’s January Transfer Strategy

After having attended the launch of the book about the Moratti family and Inter in central Milano last night, Calciomercato.com reveal that Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio, coach Luciano Spalletti and Sporting Director of Suning Sports Walter Sabatini continued the night at a nerby restauarnt to agree on Inter’s transfer strategy when the transfer window opens in January.

According to the report, when Luciano Spalletti asked for the club to clarify their strategy some people mistook that as a jab at Piero Ausilio which it wasn’t as exemplified by how the duo behaved together last night, laughing and hugging each other.

Quite the contrary, the trio are very much on the same page in terms of what is needed to occur at the club, so it remains to be seen how Suning will react. Also, Spalletti has been promised that at least one player will arrive in January, Calciomercato report, although it will take quite a bit of creativity and puzzling by Ausilio and Sabatini given the obstacle that UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations have laid on the club.

According to the report Joao Mario remains on the market given that he has ahrdly featured for the club and has asked his agent to find a solution. PSG have not shown a great deal of interest in Joao Mario so a swap between the former Sporting player and Pastore is almost impossible, according to Calciomercato.com.

This said, the trio are in agreement that Inter are lacking a classic number ten player to play behind Mauro Icardi up front.
