Inter manager Luciano Spalletti was in attendance as he and many others celebrated the youth team’s successes this year.
Accompanied by Inter first teamers Andrea Pinamonti and Yann Karamoh on the stage, Spalletti stressed the importance of not being afraid to the youth players.
“You must not be afraid of making mistakes and facing difficulties, because otherwise you will face obstacles that you can not overcome. Instead, you must face them, live with them and overcome them because presumption is the worst trait for a player to possess.”
Spalletti then spoke on his own experience in coaching young players.
“I have coached children, just like yourselves, in the past, because I have gone through coaching all the different youth team levels and it was a wonderful time. You have to always remember that in order to become champions it is not enough to simply know how to play the ball well.
