Steven Zhang will be the next president of Inter once current president Erick Thohir departs the club Gazzetta dello Sport underline.

Steven, the son of Inter’s owner Jindong Zhang, has been near ever present in Milano since Suning’s takeover of the Nerazzurri and is now heading the club’s international relations. Zhang junior was quick to start his adaption to the Italian way of life and started to learn the language soon after arriving in Italy.

With Thohir further and further away from Inter, with far less involvement and visits, he could be out by the end of the season if not soon after that.

Moreover, Gazzetta report that former president Massimo Moratti could return to the club in some capacity although it is now clear in which capacity that would be. Moratti served as Inter president between 1995 and 2013 and oversaw one of Inter’s most successful periods where no less than 15 trophies were won including one Champions League trophy as part of the historic triplete season.
