Inter’s Brazilian international central defender shared his thoughts moments ago when speaking with Premium Sport ahead of today’s Serie A fixture away at the Mapei Stadium against Sassuolo.

The former Atletico Madrid player began by looking back at last weeks fixture stating that: “The loss against Udinese was a very ugly defeat but now we have a new opportunity to get back on the right path to reach our objective. Against Udinese we played one half really poorly, now we have to win in order to demonstrate that we are a strong team.”

Miranda was then asked about how it feels to play during the Christmas holidays to which he replied that: “Inter is our family, we have to give a great performance today.”

The Brazilian then continued previewing the match in an interview with Inter TV explaining that: “we have worked well during the week, we must get back to winning ways. Sassuolo are a tough team, very talented but we are inter and we must win this match.”

In conclusion Joao Miranda was asked about why he hasn’t been able to score for a long time replying that: “I hope I can score but first I need to think about helping my team not  to concede.”
