Javier Pastore’s proposed transfer to Inter depends on one of two options as made clear by Corriere dello Sport, to come true.

In order to acquire the Argentine trequartista, Inter will need to find either an agreement with Paris Saint Germain over a swap deal which would see Inter’s Joao Mario go the other way or reach an agreement over a loan with a redemption clause inserted in the deal.

Due to their problems with Financial Fair Play, the French club want a straight sale. However, Inter may be forced to rely upon the will of the 28-year-old who could ultimately force a move. Pastore and his agent have spoken often on his future as of late due to a lack of playing time harming his objective of securing a spot in Argentina’s FIFA World Cup squad next year.

The Nerazzurri are prepared though, should they be unable to acquire Pastore, and have a list of alternatives. Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Jiangsu Suning’s Ramires and Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu are all names on the minds of Inter’s management in case they can not get Pastore.
