According to Tuttosport, Inter have reached an agreement with Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu over a move to San Siro when the transfer window opens next month.

Having met with the Spanish winger’s entourage on Wednesday, the Nerazzurri have reportedly struck a deal with him.

Indeed, the Blaugrana wide man is bottom of the pecking order under Ernesto Valverde and is desperate to play his way into the plans of Spain coach Julen Lopetegui ahead of next summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.

All that remains is to convince the Catalans to allow him to leave via a loan deal which would almost certainly include an option to buy. Considering the fact his contract expires in June 2019, it should not be too expensive an operation to sign the 23-year-old.

Though Josep Maria Bartomeu’s club are interested in Milan Škriniar, there is very little chance of a future option to sign the Slovak centre-back being included in any negotiations.
