Paris Saint Germain manager Unai Emery has spoken on Javier Pastore’s future at the club and has denied that the player has requested to move on to pastures new as reported in the media.
“I talked a lot with Pastore, he is an important player and he has not told me he wants to go away, I hope he will train with us and then be ready to play,” Emery told AFP.
The 28-year-old Argentine has come in to links with Inter among others in recent weeks. A move to Inter, despite Pastore welcoming the interest, is difficult for a number of reasons. Both Inter and PSG are bound by Financial Fair Play regulations; Inter can not afford to spend big sums whereas PSG need big money to help their own cause. Inter can only really sign players on loan signings or for free this mercato and the French capital club are not open to loaning Pastore out.
