Inter manager Luciano Spalletti previewed tomorrow night’s match away to Fiorentina – which is scheduled to kick off at 20:45 l0cal time – in an interview with Inter’s tv channel Inter TV.

“There is still a long way to go, there are important results still to be achieved,” he started out.

“We will be ready to come up against tough opponents such as Fiorentina. In the final third we have not been so good lately. We need to give our best in terms of individual quality and make it serve the team as a collective.”

Spalletti then concluded by discussing Davide Santon as well as those who would be missing the Nerazzurri’s first fixture of 2018.

“Santon has the characteristics to play as a central defender. He is a complete player but must learn the role. Miranda and D’Ambrosio? Everything is ok with them, we hope to get them back after the mini period of rest.”
