Paris St. Germain manager Unai Emery was unable to hide his disappointment with Edinson Cavani and Javier Pastore for arriving back late for training after the Christmas Break. The Spanish manager said: “the two players find themselves behind everyone else in the group as they are at least two days late for training. I will wait for them and listen to what they have to say, their reasons and arguments. Edinson could return today but we do not know yet. One thing for certain is that they will both have to explain themselves to the club.”

Whereas PSG have a rough idea of when Cavani will return to France, L’Equipe reports that the situation surrounding the Argentine midfielder appears to be a lot less clearer as it is unknown when he is returning from Argentina. With the midfielder being strongly linked with a move away from the club and in particular to Inter, the Milano based club will continue to monitor the situation with interest.
