West Ham Can Make Joao Mario’s Loan From Inter Permanent For €35m

It has been widely reported by various sources that Inter and West Ham have come to an agreement over the loaning of midfielder Joao Mario.

The Portuguese midfielder is to initially join the Premier League side on loan at a cost of €1.5 million with an option for them to turn the move permanent should they wish.

Corriere dello Sport report that the redemption fee has been set at €35 million which still ultimately means Inter make a loss on the 25-year-old but not as substantial a loss as earlier reports suggested they would have.

The Euro 2016 champion joined the Nerazzurri 18 months ago, soon after playing a crucial part in his nations success at the tournament held in France. He joined in a near club record deal worth €40 million but has ultimately failed to live up to his price tag or regularly showcase the form he showed that led to Inter purchasing him in the first place.
