In the coming days, the representatives of Lautaro Martinez are expected in Milan to hold talks with Inter over a possible transfer according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter wish to strike before Real Madrid who are also interested in his services and could easily out muscle a financial fair play limited side in the Nerazzurri.

Inter plan to make an offer consisting of a two year loan with a right to redeem the 20-year-old starlet of Racing Club and could do so this month in order to not miss out on one of Argentina’s best up and coming talents.

Other reports have suggested that Inter are ready to splash the cash for Martinez and could pay up to €20 million to acquire him, despite their aforementioned financial fair play troubles. Moreover, other recent reports suggest there is already an agreement in principal between Inter and the Argentine youth international.

Martinez has been in fine form this season netting four goals and assisting twice in six games.
