Javier Pastore’s agent – Marcelo Simonian – has been interviewed by Sky Sport and was of course asked about his client’s future. Here is what the Argentine had to say:

“Javier is not for sale, I want to clarify this. However, Paris Saint-Germain would not object to a solution which would make him happy. Everyone at PSG loves him, from Nasser Al-Khelaifi to Antero Henrique, and no one would do anything to stop him being happy.”

Meanwhile, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Nerazzurri have not yet scheduled a trip to Paris to close the deal. That said, they are in contact with the Ligue 1 leaders and have made it clear they want to sign him on loan with option to buy.

Any agreement will be based on how much Suning are willing to pay at each separate stage of his transfer. Directors Walter Sabatini and Piero Ausilio are said to be optimistic about their chances of signing the former Palermo trequartista.
