Mauro Icardi continued to undergo therapy on his muscle injury today ahead of tomorrow’s match with Crotone but it is still unclear if he will be playing or not.
Premium Sport report that Luciano Spalletti could still choose to include the captain and this season’s top scorer in his squad but advise him to do the logical thing and allow Icardi to miss out in order to fully recover in time for the next game.
Rafinha is also understood to be not quite ready to make his starting debut for Inter just yet but will likely make an appearance at some point. Winger Antonio Candreva is believed to be doubtful for tomorrow night’s fixture and Spalletti is considering deploying Joao Cancelo in his place, meaning Danilo D’Ambrosio will return to right back and Davide Santon will go at left back.
Premium Sport further report that the Inter manager is likely to change things up formation wise and opt for a 4-3-3 instead of a 4-2-3-1.
