Valencia have already started working on planning their roster for the 2018/2019 season in the Spanish La Liga. The club has started with trying to confirm certain important players from the current squad of coach Marcelino Garcia Toral where they are currently in third spot behind Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

According to Spanish media outlet PlazaDeportiva one of the names of the players that Valencia want to keep is Inter player and reject Geoffrey Kondogbia, who came to Valencia from Inter during last summer’s transfer window on a loan after some disciplinary issues.

According to the report Valencia want to exercise the right of redemption before June 30th, and the deal could go down as stated in the agreement from November between the two Sporting Directors Mateu Alemany and Piero Ausilio whith a payment plan spread out over four payments. Valencia already has a contract ready for the Frenchman which would tie him to the club until the end of June 2022 with a buy-out clause of €100 million.
