Despite confirmation arriving from both the Racing Club president Victor Blanco and his agent that Lautaro Martinez will join Inter in the summer, Borussia Dortmund refuse to give up on trying to sign him.
According to Fox Sports, the German club have upped their offer by 15 million to 55 million, almost two times the amount the Argentine club’s president confirmed Inter signed him for (27 million) in an interview earlier today.
Fox Sports further report that changing Martinez’s mind is an impossible task but it will not stop Dortmund from continuing to try and land one of the hottest young talents in world football at the moment.
The 20-year-old striker has exploded on to the scene this term and has helped himself to 13 goals in 15 outings. As a result, many Argentine’s are calling for national team manager Jorge Sampaoli to take Martinez on the plane to this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
