Despite other reports suggesting a resignation has already been submitted, FCInterNews.it report that no such action has been taken yet by Suning’s technical co-ordinator Walter Sabatini.

Sabatini, who joined the Suning group last year and splits his time between Jiangsu Suning and Inter, has asked for absolute clarity from Suning on the long term project at hand at the Nerazzurri in particular. Moreover, he has demanded total control on the transfer market, a report backed up by Corriere della Sera who report the same thing.

FCInterNews.it also claim that the concept of clarity can also be applied in Inter manager Luciano Spallletti’s situation also. Spalletti wants the Suning leadership to stay true to their promises of strengthening the team further.

If Sabatini’s demands are not given in to, he may well tender his resignation and cut ties with everything Suning related including Inter. Spalletti may also consider his future with the club if the promises are not kept.

Corriere della Sera add that if Sabatini is to go, former sporting director Marco Branca could return to assume the position in his place.
