Inter legend Youri Djorkaeff has praised the change that is sweeping over Serie A at the moment in terms of new owners coming in to the league in an interview with Premium Sport.
“I think there is something new in the Italian league, the level is rising and the teams are making it stronger than it was before. We look at Inter and Milan, for example, but also other clubs. The new owners must firstly understand the environment and then invest money. I think it will be good for the next few years this kind of politics.”
Djorkaeff, who won the UEFA Cup during his three year spell with the club, was then asked about Inter and when they might be able to win the scudetto again.
“I hope that Inter can return as strong as it was in the past, and today the club is doing a good job and I hope they can win the Scudetto next year.”
