Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will deploy what Gazzetta dello Sport are deeming “Inter version 2.0” on Wednesday night as the Nerazzurri take on Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.

Inter 2.0 is something Spalletti has been working on since the 2-0 defeat to Genoa back in mid-February. Since that result, Inter are undefeated, winning three of four games (2-0 vs Benevento, 5-0 vs Sampdoria, 3-0 vs Hellas Verona) and drawing the other with Napoli.

“It is very likely that Spalletti relies on this Inter 2.0 for the fourth time in a row. They are a team who plays well and above all, continues to fight until the end.”

The Milanese newspaper also spoke on Gennaro Gattuso’s Milan side ahead of the derby.

Milan have been revitalised by Gattuso who have won eight of the last ten games and, despite the defeat to Juventus, has put them in difficulty. In short, the premises for a great derby are all there.”
