Moments before kick-off in the Serie A fixture when AC Milan host cross town rivals Inter in the postponed Serie A Derby della Madonnina fixture at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, with kick-off scheduled for 18.30 CET, Brazilian international central defender Joao Miranda stopped by Sky Sport Italia to share his thoughts on the fixture.
The former Atletico Madrid player was asked about the Nerazzurri’s chances to reach next season’s Champions League if they win today against the Rossoneri to which he replied: “It is a derby, we have to give a great performance. We have to do more than our best to win.”
“We know that we must be strong, Milan are a great team but we are united and we want to win. We have found the balance we have been lacking, we have a defence that is more solid than before and an attack that scores a lot of goals” Miranda concluded.
