Inter’s Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts on the goalless draw in tonight’s Derby della Madonnina.

The former Udinese goalkeeper began by saying that: “The result leaves a very bitter taste. We missed out on two points when you look at our performance. We didn’t take advantage of the chances we created, it is water under the bridge now and we move forward.

“Teamwork helps everyone and I think you can see it from the beginning of the season. We are a team which still has great margins for improvement, Milan simply reacted to our game and how we played.”

In conclusion Handanovic was asked about Inter’s chances to qualify for next seasons Champions League following the result in the derby to which he stated: “It looks like a three horse race from start to finish, but we’re only focused on winning our own matches.”
