Dalbert: “I’m Not Leaving Inter, Not Even On Loan”

Inter defender Dalbert spoke to Sky Sports at an event hosted by the Brooks Brothers: “I cost a lot but this is not a burden for me. There is a lot of pressure at Inter because it is a great team. This is how it is at top clubs. Inter came after me based on what I achieved in the French League.”

The full back then discussed the apparent interest from Marseille.

“Right now I’m not  even thinking about leaving, not even on loan. My family and I are very happy here. I want to stay at Inter and have the opportunity to show everyone how much I’m worth.”

These words must be praised, as they are a sign of the 24 year old Brazilian’s strong character and determination to succeed at the club despite his incredibly long integration process. Dalbert has made his debut and a few substitute appearances but has failed to make himself a consistent starter, with Spalletti having preferred Nagatomo, Santon and D’Ambrosio in his position over the course of the season. Leaving many people confused and questioning both Dalbert and Spalletti.
