Inter’s Italian central defender Andrea Ranocchia stopped by Inter TV ahead of tonight’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district when the Nerazzurri host Cagliari.

The former Sampdoria and Genoa defender began by praising the fans stating that: “The crowd here at San Siro have always responded in a gigantic manner, no-one has a crowd like we do. We have to win today, three points just like the ones that we are expected to take.

“It is complicated for everyone. We are up there and whoever has the most desire and will to finish in the top will end up there in the end. We have a lot of desire and today we will demonstrate this” Ranocchia continued.

In conclusion he was asked about the pressure the team have been feeling to which he replied: “Aside from the recent results that have not gone our way as against Milan, Torino and Atalanta, the performances have always been great. We should not think too much about Cagliari but only think about ourselves, and that we will give a great performance.”
