At the end of the current season, Inter management are to sit down with Milan Skriniar’s agent Karol Csonto to discuss a new contract FCInterNews.it have revealed.

The centre back joined the Nerazzurri last summer in a transfer that was largely downplayed by the media who questioned why Inter opted for him over an experienced head. Skriniar however completely blew everyone away and continues to do so on a weekly basis and his performances have not gone unnoticed with it understood that interest exists from a number of top top clubs like Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Barcelona.

Inter plan to offer the 23-year-old a new deal that will expire at the end of the 2022/23 season (his current deal runs until the end of the 2021/2022 season) in an attempt to deter the wealth of interest in him. He currently earns around €1.2 million but will see his salary raised to €2.3 million with a further €700,000 available to him through bonuses.
