Daniele Orsato has been appointed to referee the Derby D’Italia between Inter and Juventus at the San Siro this weekend.

The 42-year-old will be assisted on the night by Riccardo Di Fiore and Lorenzo Manganelli. The fourth official for the match will be Paolo Tagliavento. Paolo Valeri – who refereed Inter’s 2-1 victory over Chievo Verona last weekend – has been appointed to oversee VAR and Alessandro Giallatini will assist him for the match that is scheduled to kick off at 20:45 local time on Saturday.

Orsato has been in charge of three Inter matches this season. He oversaw Inter’s home matches with Napoli, Torino and Crotone, all of which ended in draws. He has been in charge of two Juventus matches this season, both of which were away from home against Napoli and Torino. The Bianconeri won both of the games Orsato refereed 1-0.

This weekend’s match-up is the second Derby D’Italia of the season and fans will be hopeful of seeing some goals after a 0-0 draw in the first meeting.
