Italian singer and songwriter Andrea Bocelli, a well known Inter fan, was a guest on Mediaset show Tiki Taka and spoke on how he came to support the Nerazzurri.

“My passion for Inter was born many years ago, when I went to boarding school. At that time, unlike what happens nowadays, the Nerazzurri won everything. It was the era of Sarti, Burgnich, Facchetti, Bedin, Guarneri, Picchi, Jair, Mazzola, Domenghini, Suarez, Corso. Due to them I became an Interista. Although being an Interista is often painful, when you win you feel an indescribable sensation.”

Bocelli then revealed what he would do if Italy’s sole Champions League representatives in Roma are to come back against Liverpool and reach the final.

“If Roma replicates the miracle they performed against Barcelona when they play Liverpool, I promise to dive into the pool at midnight after the game, or I will start singing ‘Grazie Roma.'”
