As reported by Premium Sport, a group of supporters were present at Appiano Gentile to congratulate the players after their positive performance against Juventus. Despite trailing by a goal and being reduced to 10 men, the Nerazzurri fought back to take a 2-1 lead before a late Juventus comeback saw them lose the match 3-2.
Meanwhile, coach Luciano Spalletti must make a decision on the replacements of suspended pair Matias Vecino (red card) and Danilo D’Ambrosio (yellow card limit) for the upcoming match with Udinese. Currently Borja Valero and Dalbert are favourites to return to the starting 11.
This could be an important opportunity for the Brazilian full-back who has already been linked with moves away from the club, despite joining for €20 million this previous summer. The player has made only 13 appearances for the Nerazzurri, and has fallen behind D’Ambrosio, Davide Santon and even Joao Cancelo in the pecking order for his preferred left full back position.
