Inter full-back Dalbert spoke to Inter TV about his journey back to the starting line-up following the 4-0 win over Udinese at the weekend.
“By the end of the match I was a bit tired. I trained a lot, but it was difficult to finish the match after being out for three months. I’m glad to contribute to the three points.”
The Brazilian went on to speak highly of the motivation levels within the current squad.
“We work hard during the week with the coach and we are in a good place both physically and mentally. We will continue to work to achieve our goal. Everyone is motivated to fight right to the very end. We all know we must be ready at all times so that we can perform at our best for this team.”
It has been a difficult season for the former Nice player who has struggled for playing time since joining Inter from the French side this summer. His start yesterday was only his 13 appearance for the season, and he was subbed on 69 minutes after falling victim to cramp.
