With Stefan de Vrij’s contract officially deposited as per various reports, Inter are now focusing on completing the signing of Kwadwo Asamoah according to transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
Inter are down to defining the final details of the transfer that will see the Ghanaian arrive on a free transfer once his contract expires with rivals Juventus at the end of the season. Juventus’ hierarchy have already been informed about the latest developments in negotiations and it is understood that Asamoah’s signature could be on the contract that would bind him to Inter starting from July in the coming days.
The full back has been a loyal servant to the Bianconeri since arriving from Udinese back in 2012 but has found himself frozen out of Max Allegri’s starting lineup far more often than he would perhaps like this term. This season he has made a total of 26 appearances across all competitions.
