Former Inter president Massimo Moratti was interviewed for Corriere della Sera’s weekly magazine L’Economia and aside from talking about his new role at family company Saras, he spoke on the Nerazzurri’s current owners, Suning.

“The current owners of Inter are serious and economically strong. It is necessary to have the right patience and participation to get back to get the right results at the right time.”

Moratti, who served as Inter president for close to two decades and saw Inter pick up many trophies, then spoke on Juventus, who won their seventh straight scudetto at the weekend following a 0-0 draw with Roma.

“Juventus is the strongest and most complete team in Italy. This is thanks to the continuity of the club. Given the situation of the Italian national team, Juventus represents Italian football and has the respect and sympathy of those who work in Italian football, such as the referees.”
