Inter are among three Italian clubs interested in bringing Alvaro Morata back to Serie A, according to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser.
Morata has endured a difficult first season for Chelsea after completing an €70-million move from Real Madrid last summer, scoring just 15 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions.
The forward missed out on a place in Julen Lopetegui’s Spain squad ahead of this summer’s World Cup and is now thought to be keen on a return to Italy, having spent two seasons at Juventus between 2014 and 2016.
Cadena Ser report that Inter, Milan and Juventus themselves are said to be interested in signing the 25 year-old, while there is also interest from Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
The radio station however does not exclude that Morata could return to La Liga, a league in which he has scored 25 goals across 63 appearances for Real Madrid.
Where the forward will end up remains to be seen but it appears certain at this stage that he will not remain at Chelsea.
