Despite only joining in January, Japanese full back Yuto Nagatomo has already left a positive impression on his loan club Galatasaray. So much so that club President Mustafa Cengiz has publicly confirmed the Turkish clubs desire to purchase the player for the future.

According to FCInterNews.it, the Turkish businessman has only positive words for the former Inter player and the affect his signing has had on the whole club: “We were pleased with Nagatomo, both on the field and on a human level. He helped our team, but has also built the clubs relationship with the Japanese market. We are on Japanese TV every week and we receive many letters from the Japanese Federation. The Japanese ambassador contacts us regularly also – our friendship has boomed in recent months. Yuto is a great player, but he is owned by Inter and they can rightly make any request for him. He did not formally say goodbye to us, as I believe he would like to return and we would like to have him next season.”
