Nicolo Zaniolo has reminded teammates that “it does not end here” following the 1-0 win over Juventus that puts Inter Primavera one win away from securing a second straight Scudetto title.
“I do not want to talk about my goal, I want to talk about the whole team’s performance. We never gave up and this is what the coach wants from us and today we did it. I am happy with the result today and it does not end here for us. Fiorentina have proved to be a good team but we are the same, the best team on the day will be the winner.”
The young Italian midfielder then revealed he could have joined Juventus prior to agreeing a move to Inter last summer and what position he likes best.
“I could have gone to Juventus but now all that counts is Inter. I prefer to play as the playmaker but playing as a mezzala is fine for me too.”
