Inter and Sassuolo are to meet one another on Wednesday to hold talks over a possible transfer of Matteo Politano to the Nerazzurri according to a report from Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report further states that this week could prove crucial for Inter’s chances of landing the €28+ million rated winger who has been subject to interest from Roma, Napoli and Lazio also.
Corriere dello Sport have also looked at the impact that Politano’s potential arrival at San Siro would have on the Nerazzurri’s current two right wingers; Antonio Candreva and Yann Karamoh.
It is understood that Candreva’s agent Federico Pastorello has received offers from some English clubs while other English clubs are simply only interested at the moment and yet to make any form of offer. Inter would be willing to let him go if they are able to make a capital gain on his sale otherwise they are happy to renew the Italian international’s contract. As for Karamoh, Politano’s arrival in Milano coupled with Candreva remaining would see him loaned out elsewhere in order to get regular playing time.
