Young Inter goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio is at the centre of a tug-of-war between Padova and Venezia as per a report from PadovaSport.tv.

The Italian, who spent last season on loan at Serie C outfit AC Renate and recorded 14 shut outs in 37 appearances across all competitions, is out of contract at the end of the month and for a few reasons Inter are not likely to offer him fresh terms.

The 20-year-old is now not only too old to play for Inter’s Primavera side but is very unlikely to be considered for Inter manager Luciano Spalletti’s first team next season thus meaning being released is the most likely scenario for the youngster. Had he still been under contract, the Nerazzurri would have undoubtedly looked to sell him on as they are doing with many of his young teammates at the club to help them toward their financial fair play goal.
